The Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “Aerial Autonomous Systems” is structured over three (3) semesters, and the total number of ECTS credits required for the award of the Postgraduate Diploma is 90.
In the first (A’) semester, six (6) compulsory courses are taught, while in the second (B’) semester, students choose six (6) courses from the list of offered electives.
In the third (C’) semester, students carry out their postgraduate thesis.

■ GNSS and Inertial positioning for Autonomous Systems
■ Lightweight materials (incl. composites), specifications and requirements for UAV applications
2nd Semester (Total 30 ECTS, elective courses, 6 courses are selected)
■ Structural design – Hardware system design of UAV’s (synthesis, static and quasistatic analyses)
■ Manufacturing of lightweight systems focusing on UAV applications
■ Fixed wing UAV layout, design and synthesis
■ Flight Mechanics and UAV Performance
■ Unmanned Aerial Vehicles as Mapping Systems
■ Advanced topics to Wireless Communications
3rd Semester
