Tuition Fees
In the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “Autonomous Aerial Systems,” tuition fees are set at €2,000.00€ per full semester (€6,000.00€ in total) for EU citizens and €3,000.00€ per full semester (€9,000.00€ in total) for non-EU citizens.
The full amount for each semester must be paid at the beginning of the teaching semester and within two weeks from its commencement, to the account of the Special Account for Research Funds (ELKE) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.).
In cases of part-time attendance, the total amount of €6,000.00€ or €9,000.00€ is allocated proportionally.
Failure to meet financial obligations may constitute valid grounds for not awarding the diploma or even for expulsion from the postgraduate program.
Exemption from Tuition Fees
Those postgraduate students who meet the criterion of excellence in the first cycle of studies, which corresponds at least to the possession of a grade equal to or higher than seven and a half with a perfect score out of ten (7.5/10), are entitled to free tuition due to financial or social criteria. The specific terms and conditions of the right to free study in the MSc program are described in the legislation in force and in the decision of the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. The exempted students should not exceed the percentage of thirty percent (30%) of the total number of students admitted to the Postgraduate Progarm and it concerns participation in only one Postgraduate Program of Studies. If the beneficiaries exceed the above percentage, they are selected in order of ranking starting from those with the lowest income.
The application for exemption of tuition fees is submitted by the person concerned to the Postgraduate Program after the completion of the selection process of students in the Msc. The possibility of exemption from the obligation to pay tuition fees is granted exclusively for the attendance of one (1) MSc organised by a domestic higher education institution.
The detailed criteria and conditions for free attendance are listed in the Regulation of Studies.
